I haven’t written anything new in forever, so here’s a super emo Bright Eyes cover.
I write a lot of songs that are personal. But I also write a lot of songs that are from the point of view from a already existing character (fairy tales, historical figures, movies, TV show characters, and musicians), as it is relevant to myself. So here is a list of those songs:
A Wolf’s Teeth Are Often Hidden In Sheep’s Wool: Red Riding Hood, as the roles are switched
Plum Cake: Jean Pierre Jeunet’s Amelie
Regular Song: Cartoon Network’s Regular Show, originally a duet
They Don’t Sell Hearts In Liquor Stores: Cursive and The Good Life’s Tim Kasher
L’Autruchienne: Marie Antoinette
Mirrors: Snow White, as the Queen
Phantasmagoria: Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland
A Wolf’s Teeth Are Always Hidden In Sheep Wool | Jordan Clementine
This is the rough studio version, featuring Christopher Reyne.
Reblogging myself, because I have never written a song that has been more relevant to my life than this one, and I’m not even lying, I listen to my own songs and cry sometimes.
If you want to get to know me, all you have to do is listen to this song.
(I am also finished with the storyboard for the music video I’ll be making with this song, so now it’s just a matter of getting everyone together. Exciting!)

Working on a music video for my most recent song, featuring Christopher Reyne, directed by Harrisen Howes, with clothing done by Alchemy and Lace.
I wrote this almost a year ago. And it’s weird to think about how different my life was a year ago. I was living with a boy, and a stranger, in NW Portland. I spent my days on the roof, writing non stop.
It was written with his typewriter, the one in the picture, and then a few weeks later, I had a change of heart, and wrote this song that counteracts the poem.
